Company Headquarters are in Ploiesti City, Prahova County.

In 1992 Valdor took over the entire activity of Slanic SA including touristic exploitation of Minei Unirea, the only deep mine salt in Romania and the second in Europe, offering the best conditions for treatment of respiratory diseases (asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, professional diseases) and throat, nose and ear diseases.

With a good management and an “aggressive” expansion policy the company succeeded to expand within a relative short period of time in three localities of Prahova County, Slanic Prahova , Ploiesti and Valenii de Munte.
